Tourism Management major
Introduction
Fueled by the financial and administrative support from the Education Ministry, the major seeks to be at the center of our university's growth. Our educational facilities have classrooms and kitchens for practicing cooking Korean food, Chinese food, and baking. In addition, the major offers other various laboratories for computer and language education. In order to enhance our efforts to provide students with hands-on instruction in Hotel business, our Universtel has over 31 guest rooms including standard rooms (Ondol; under-floor heating, Twin and Double Rooms) and deluxe rooms (suite, deluxe and royal suite rooms). In regards to the Food and Beverage area of study, we have a convention center and a restaurant to offer our students on-the-spot experiences.
Educational Objective
The major aims to train experts and professionals in the area of Tourism through a well-balanced curriculum between theory and practice. This major is, in fact the leader of the industry, contributing to the growth in the regional tourism industry.
