As our population ages the demand for multi-focus lenses and leisure sport glasses grow. In order to meet the demands of this era, Catholic Kwandong University has decided to establish a new department of optics and recruit students from 2018. The department of Optometry works with the International St. Mary's Hospital, an affiliated hospital, to train students under the latest educational facilities to be professional medical personnel with systematic and specialized theories and clinical skills related to optometrics, ophthalmology, preparation and prescription based on precise optical science.
