Sports and Leisure Studies major
Introduction
The department, playing a leading role in training professionals in Sports & Leisure, seeks to promote the industry of Sports and Leisure while at the same time, contributing to the area of public health. The department consists of 3 majors: Sports for All, Health and Fitness Management, Sports Management.
Educational Objective
This major studies a variety of theories and practices necessary to train future-oriented leaders in Sports for All.
Educational Goal
The major aims to train professional and practical leaders in the area of Sports for All, who are able to comprehend the social demands that further contribute to the growth within the industry. After graduation, students can work as leaders in Sports for All, managers in sports facilities, professional or amateur coaches, referees, journalists, recreation specialists, personal trainers, or employees in welfare facilities (institutions for the elderly, children or the disabled).
